FINAL EPISODE | MEN’S MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS DIALOGUE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH Rise Radiosl 96.3 FM

Over the past weeks, we have challenged stigma, amplified unheard voices, and created space for honest conversations about men’s mental health.

Today, we conclude our radio dialogue series with a timely discussion on:

Breaking the Silence: Advancing Inclusive Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for Men in Sierra Leone

Theme: Why Men’s Mental Health Matters for Peace, Security and Inclusive Development

Joining us is Mr. Magnus Mordu Conteh, Senior International Consultant with expertise in Mental Health and Psychosocial First Aid.

Host: Sorina N Dumbuya – Communications Officer, SHE4Peace

Co-Host: Nata Bea – Community Lead Volunteer, SHE4Peace

Tune in to Rise Radio 96.3 FM and be part of this important conversation as we bring our Men’s Mental Health Awareness Radio campaign to a close ahead of Elevate Men’s Seminar 2.0.

Because when men are supported, families are stronger, communities are safer, and societies are more peaceful.

Meet Our Lala Sidibe: A Kora Player

We are pleased to introduce Lala Sidibe, who will play the Kora at the Mindfulness Session.

Lala brings a unique blend of culture, creativity, and healing to this year’s seminar. Through the soothing sounds of the kora, she will help create a reflective space where participants can pause, reconnect with themselves, and embrace the power of mindfulness and emotional wellbeing.

As we continue to encourage men to speak openly about their struggles, we also recognize the importance of creating moments for reflection, self-awareness, and inner healing. Lala’s session will offer participants a calming and immersive experience that complements the day’s conversations on mental health and wellbeing.

Join us on 27th June 2026 as we come together under the theme:

“It’s Okay to Say: I Am Not Okay.”

Because healing is not only found in words, it can also be found in music, mindfulness, and meaningful connection.
