This year we were able to make a $10,000 donation to The Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation.

The Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation is one of the top organizations dedicated to cancer research, education, fellowship and patient care in the Long Island and Tri-State Area. Founded in 1972 in memory of 16 year old Don Monti who died of myloblastic leukemia. They continue to support the ground breaking studies being conducted by world-renowned cancer researchers as state of the art facilities.

This year we made a $5,000 donation to The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care.

The Cam Neely Foundation was launched in 1995 by Boston Bruins President and alumnus, Cam Neely, after he lost his parents, Marlene and Michael Neely, to cancer. This experience created the inspiration to help others living with cancer. With the dream of honoring his beloved parents and the hope of helping others, The Cam Neely Foundation was created to help cancer patients and their families during treatment. As millions of Americans will be diagnosed this year with some form of cancer, an understandable sense of urgency propels the Foundation’s mission.

The mission of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001. They also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.

On December 29, 2021 a devastating earthquake hit Central Croatia with the epicenter near Petrinja. This earthquake caused massive damage and destruction to the surrounding areas.

In an effort to help the people of the Petrinja region, we donated $50,000 to the Dječi Dom Vrbina Sisak and $50,000 to the Opća Bolnica in Sisak. These two donations are the largest ever made by the Croatian American Charitable Foundation to date! Thanks to our supporters and donors, we were able to help these wonderful organizations.

The donation to Dječi Dom Vrbina Sisak helped fund two thirds of their construction costs associated with the construction of a new orphanage after the earthquake destroyed the last one.

The donation to the Opća Bolnica Sisak helped fund the purchase of desperately needed medical equipment that help this hospital better serve the surrounding community!
