While breast cancer deaths have dropped for women in most of the United States, they have not for Native women. There are still disparities in access to care.
We are proud to support BCRF and their investigators who are working on projects relevant to the Native American community. During Native American Heritage Month we want to call attention to the need for more research including understanding and treating TNBC, improving screening, diversifying clinical trials, and reducing treatment delays.
While breast cancer deaths have declined for many women across the U.S., they have not for Native women. Disparities in access to care continue to impact outcomes.
This Native American Heritage Month, we’re proud to support BCRF and their investigators working on projects relevant to the Native American Community including research focused on understanding and treating TNBC, improving screening, diversifying clinical trials, and reducing treatment delays.
