✨ Boxing Day & Kwanzaa Greetings from UJAA ✨
Supporting Jamaica. Strengthening Community.
On this Boxing Day, as many across the diaspora reflect on generosity and giving, the Union of Jamaican Alumni Associations (UJAA) also honors the start of Kwanzaa—a celebration rooted in unity, purpose, and collective responsibility.
These values are especially meaningful this year as we continue our UJAA Response to Hurricane Melissa, supporting affected schools and communities across Jamaica.
The principles of Kwanzaa—Umoja (Unity), Kujichagulia (Self-Determination), Ujima (Collective Work & Responsibility), and Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics)—mirror the spirit of our relief efforts. Together, we are helping schools recover, rebuild, and return to a safe learning environment.
This Boxing Day, we invite you to embody the season’s spirit of giving by supporting our ongoing Melissa Response initiative.
💛 Donate: Every contribution strengthens a school.
💛 Share: Help spread the message across your network.
💛 Stand with Jamaica: Together, we rise.
Wishing our UJAA family a meaningful Kwanzaa and a reflective, generous Boxing Day.
