The WXPN 5K Run/Walk for Musicians On Call is coming up this Sunday, October 18! This year the MOC team will be celebrating remotely, a group of us stepped up to complete the 5K virtually. We took some time yesterday to log our miles in support of Musicians On Call and the incredible mission of bringing music to patients' bedsides.

We’re excited to announce that Unplugged & Uncorked is back! 🍷🎸 Taking place on October 29, this special evening will bring together live music, great w**e, and meaningful moments, all in support of Musicians On Call and our mission to bring the healing power of music to patients, families, and caregivers across the country.

A special thank you to ROSIE and the founders of Unplugged & Uncorked for coming together to help bring the healing power of music to patients at The Mount Sinai Hospital. ❤️

There’s something special about what happens when music fills a hospital room. 🎶💛

We had such a wonderful time with Stella Lefty at TriStar Centennial Children's Hospital, bringing songs, smiles and joy to patients, families and caregivers. Moments like these are a reminder of just how powerful music can be, especially when it brings a moment of connection and happiness during a hospital stay.

Music is healing for everyone, not just patients. 💙🎵

It starts with a knock on the door and a simple question: “Would you like to hear some music?”

Behind that moment is an incredible team of Volunteer Musicians and Volunteer Guides working together to bring live music to patients, families and caregivers. While one volunteer shares the gift of a song, the other helps create the connection that makes each visit possible.

Both roles are equally important because we truly can’t have one without the other. Together, they go room to room, creating moments of comfort, connection and joy through the power of music.

9 to 5 Day was such a special day here at MOC. 🩷🦋

Today we had the chance to honor Dolly by bringing her music, joy and a little bit of sparkle to patients, families, and caregivers nationwide. From hospital rooms to special moments shared through music, it was a beautiful reminder of just how much a song can mean during someone’s healing journey.

Music has the power to heal, but so do the people who believe in that power and share it with others. Dolly was one of those people. Through her music, her kindness, and the joy she brought to so many, she showed us how a song can bring comfort, connection and a little light when it’s needed most.

Today and always, we honor our dear friend Dolly. We will always love you, Dolly. 💕🎶

In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we're looking back at an amazing program we had with the incredible Kristen Bell and Hyundai Hope On Wheels. From the moment it began, the rooms at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital were overflowing with laughter, smiles and the kind of joy that only music can spark. It was one of those days that reminds you just how magical a shared moment can be when hearts are open and music fills the air. 💛🎶❄️

We recently had the opportunity to work with The National Museum of African American Music to bring a fun harmonica lesson to our Veterans at Tennessee State Veterans' Homes. What started as a music lesson quickly turned into an afternoon filled with laughter and plenty of smiles.

It was so special to watch our Veterans try something new and enjoy the simple joy of making music together.

Moments like these are a reminder of what music can do. It brings us together, creates connection and can bring healing. ❤️
