Today we celebrate 27 years of bringing music to patients, families, and caregivers in healthcare facilities. 🎶💛

For 27 years, songs have filled hospital rooms, lifted spirits, and created small moments of comfort during difficult days. What started as a simple idea has grown into a community of artists, volunteers, partners, and supporters who believe in the healing power of music.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this mission possible over the years. Because of you, music continues to reach those who need it most, bringing joy, connection, and a little light into hospital rooms every day.

There’s something special about the way live music brings people together.

We recently had the privilege of visiting the Nashville VA, where our volunteers shared meaningful moments of connection, comfort, and joy with Veterans through the healing power of music. Every song, conversation, and smile is a reminder of why this mission matters.

A heartfelt thank you to Les Paul Foundation for helping make this visit so meaningful. We’re also incredibly grateful to our dedicated volunteers, whose generosity continues to make a difference in the lives of patients, families, caregivers, and the heroes who have served our country.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dave Marsh, a legendary music critic, author, and foundational part of the Musicians On Call family.

Dave played a critical role in the founding of Musicians On Call, helping transform a local hospital initiative into a nationwide movement bringing music to patients at the bedside. His commitment to using music as a force for connection and healing also reflects the values at the heart of the Kristen Ann Carr Fund.

We’re deeply grateful for Dave’s lasting impact on Musicians On Call and the many lives touched by his work. His legacy continues through the music and community he helped inspire. 💙

This past Fourth of July, Charles Esten made a special visit to the Murfreesboro VA to share the healing power of live music with our nation's Veterans. 🇺🇸🎶

We are incredibly grateful for the courage and sacrifice of our Veterans, and it's an honor to give back in this small but meaningful way.

Our volunteers make it a priority to share a song not only with patients, but also with the dedicated healthcare staff who give so much of themselves every day.

We're incredibly grateful for our volunteers, who help bring moments of joy, healing, and human connection to patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams in facilities across the country. 💙

The caregivers at TriStar Centennial Medical Center were treated to a very special surprise. Leah Colon took the time to bring live music straight to them, singing the songs they requested 🎶💛. The smiles, the tapping toes, and the moments of pure joy reminded us all just how powerful music can be in brightening someone’s day.
