Meet The Founder
Ebony recently graduated from John Jay College with a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies and minor in Anthropology. Currently, Ebony is enrolled at NCU to obtain her Master of Arts in Psychology. For the past 10 years, Ebony has dedicated herself to work supporting young people in social development. As an Activity specialist, she specializes her work in gender empowerment, Girls Empowerment, and community-based learning. Ebony believes our future is in the hands of our youth. In creating Bello Human Development & Empowerment she wanted to give parents, teachers, counselors, and caregivers a way to learn how to teach diversity at home and in the school/programs. Ebony motto is "The more we are in tune with the world around us; the more we can develop socially. If our role is to build young people to become better adults, then we must bring more critical thinking methods back into the homes and schools/program." Ebony's a firm believer that social development during our adolescent years shapes our views of the world around us.
