ECPAT-USA To protect every child's right to grow up free from s*xual exploitation and trafficking.

01/16/2024

Every year, thousands of children are trafficked for s*x across the United States. YOU can help put an end to it.

Transit Against Child Trafficking is calling on everyone to join the campaign to stop child trafficking. By knowing the signs and safely reporting instances of suspected trafficking, we can take action and keep children safer. Take the first step by learning more on our website: https://www.wearepact.org/tact-campaign

⚠️ Note: Never directly intervene in a suspected instance of trafficking. Instead, CALL the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text BEFREE (233733).

Did you know that November 18 is the World Day for the Prevention of and Healing from Child Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Violence?

Officially adopted by the United Nations on November 7, 2023, this day affirms the need to eliminate and prevent all forms of child s*xual exploitation, abuse and violence and to promote the dignity and rights, including mental and physical health and healing, of those who experience child s*xual exploitation, abuse and violence.

The UN recognizes that the s*xual abuse and exploitation of children is a violation of human rights, and thus, “ending exploitation, abuse, trafficking, torture and all forms of violence against children” is listed as a priority in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
