CEO operates in 30 cities & is dedicated to ensuring justice-impacted people have opportunities to achieve socioeconomic mobility. CEO’s vision is that anyone with a recent criminal history who wants to work has the preparation and support needed to find a job.

In partnership with Parks Chair Council Member Ty Hankerson, our CEO crew recently hosted a live tree care demonstration at their worksite, highlighting how green job pathways can create opportunities for justice-impacted individuals while contributing to healthier neighborhoods.

We were also glad to welcome representatives from Queensborough Community College / CUNY, New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, and the offices of Council Members Shanel Thomas-Henry and Council Member Shekar Krishnan to the demonstration.

Imani returned home to Tulsa ready to rebuild her life. But even with a strong resume and the skills to succeed in an interview, her past continued to stand between her and opportunity.

Imani connected with through the Emerging Leaders Program and, with support, she began turning her goals into reality, including pursuing a degree in social work.

Reentry doesn't happen in isolation—it happens within families.

Oklahoma has one of the highest rates of women's incarceration in the country, and many women returning home are also trying to care for and provide for their children while overcoming significant barriers to employment, housing, and stability.

Their stories remind us that when we invest in successful reentry, we invest in stronger families and healthier communities.

After 17 years incarcerated, Kim returned home determined to rebuild his life, reconnect with his daughters, and find stability.

The transition back into the community came with challenges, from securing employment to accessing the resources needed to move forward.

Through CEO Los Angeles, Kim renewed his CDL, completed logistics training, and secured a job in the trucking industry. Today, he is back on the road, building stability for himself and his family.

CEO Tulsa recently hosted its annual retention celebration, bringing together more than 50 participants to recognize the progress they've made on their employment journeys.

At the event, 27 participants celebrated reaching their 365-day employment milestone, while 8 marked 180 days of employment.

These milestones represent more than time on the job. They reflect persistence, opportunity, and the support that helps people build lasting stability. Congratulations to everyone we celebrated!
