Look at what happens when a community comes together! ❤️
Yesterday’s YES Academy & PS 133 Community Health & Wellness Fair was filled with smiling faces, valuable resources, engaging activities, and meaningful connections. Families had the opportunity to learn about health services, literacy programs, wellness resources, and community supports—all under one roof.
Seeing children create, learn, and explore while parents connected with organizations committed to their success was exactly what this day was all about.
Thank you to every family who attended, every vendor who shared resources, and every volunteer and staff member who helped bring this vision to life.

Yesterday’s site visit was a full court success 🏀🔥
Our DYCD Youth Sports Education Program gave the mic to the youth as our student sports commentators interviewed Ms. Emily Campos who is the Deputy Director of Partnerships and Program Analysis about her experience observing our basketball camp in action! From teamwork and leadership to confidence and communication, our youth showed exactly what this program is all about.
Big thank you to DYCD for coming out and witnessing the energy, talent, and excellence our young people bring to the game every single day. 🎤⛹🏽‍♂️⛹🏽‍♀️

Hi Harlem families! 👋🏽
I’m one of the program directors for YES Academy, a Harlem-based youth program, and we’re now enrolling for our Summer Program (June 29 – August 21).
Each summer we host an 8-week program for youth ages 5–13 that keeps kids active, creative, and learning while parents work.
Scholars enjoy activities like:
• Dance
• Team Sports
• STEM projects
• Arts & Crafts
• Educational Trips
• Gardening
• Summer Homework Support
• Wellness activities
Our program runs Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and we proudly accept HRA, ACS, and 1199 vouchers.

Many of our families return every summer, and spots usually fill quickly, so we encourage parents to enroll early.
