Today, we were honored to welcome legislators from across Connecticut to experience the Capital Prep model in action.
From classroom visits to thoughtful conversations with our scholars, illuminators, and board members, the day offered a powerful opportunity to deepen understanding of the critical role that charter schools play in expanding access and opportunity.
As free, public schools open to ALL students—regardless of race, zip code, or socio-economic status—we exist to ensure every family has a choice and every child has a pathway to success in college, career, and beyond.
A sincere thank you to the legislators who collaborated in a bipartisan effort to engage our scholars. Our deepest gratitude to Democratic State Representative Antonio Felipe, Republican State Representative Anne Dauphinais, Democratic State Representative Chris Rosario, Republican State Representative Irene Haines, Aaron Bowman and all who joined us for this meaningful visit.
