NYC has the most expensive bike share program in the U.S., with riders entirely footing the bill. Citi Bike receives $0 in public subsidy — the only bike share program in the country that doesn’t receive any public funds. What if a 45-minute ride were just $3, like the subway or the bus?

Why did Manhattan Summer Streets only happen three times this summer? NYC should have it weekly — like they do in other cities like Bogotá, Colombia, which gets 75 miles of car-free streets every Sunday. Mayor Mamdani, what are you waiting for? We want car-free Summer Streets every weekend!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at 3 Dollar Bill last night to launch our $3 Citi Bike campaign!

Hundreds of Citi Bike riders packed the house and showed that New Yorkers are ready to fight for a bike-share system that is affordable, reliable, and accessible to everyone.

A special thank-you to State Senator Kristen Gonzalez, Council Member Chris Marte, and Council Member Lincoln Restler for joining us and standing with riders in our fight for more affordable Citi Bike.

Missed the party but want a more affordable bike-share system? ➡️ Check out our $3 Citi Bike website at the link in our bio. It’s your go-to place for campaign updates, upcoming events, and ways to get involved.

State Senator Kristen Gonzalez asks: “How does the home of the Red Sox have us beat?!” A 45-minute ride on an electric bike costs just $4.50 in Boston, but here in New York City it’s $12.15. It’s time to make Citi Bike affordable again!

Electric Citi Bike prices have gone up much faster than inflation. It’s time to make Citi Bike affordable again!

🚲🪩 Want a more affordable Citi Bike? Come party with us TONIGHT. We’re taking over 3 Dollar Bill to launch our fight for $3 Citi Bike rides and build a riders union powerful enough to win them.

And we’ve got a stacked lineup!! DJ Teo Camacho is kicking off the night, and after we hear from organizers and elected leaders, Public Services’ very own Mickey Perez is closing us out with a DJ set.

There will be a raffle, drink specials, secret prizes and more!

Get your $3 tickets at the link in our bio.
