Bridging the Gap GDA Inc. Bridging the Gap GDA Inc, founded by Dr. Anthony Bridgeman, aims at helping vulnerable children in Grenadian schools with meals, shoes & scholarships

Bridging the Gap GDA is a Non-Profit organization conceptualized and founded by Dr. Anthony Bridgeman, a Grenada-born, New York based Educator and Philanthropist. Because of his experiences with poverty as a youngster, and his firm conviction that Education is the surest way out, Dr. Bridgeman has committed to helping the youth of his Island Homeland, facing similar circumstances, determined to at

least help them overcome the odds. Under the BGI, help can be accessed through the DOLLARS FOR SCHOLARS Programme, a scholarship set up for 2 students, a second and fourth former, of his Alma Mater, the Grenada Boys Secondary School. The ONE STEP AT A TIME effort aims to get shoes unto the feet of the neediest of the Island's students. Under the HEALTHY BODIES, HEALTHY MINDS project, the BGI aims to provide assistance to the hot meals and breakfast programmes across the country.

I know you guys haven’t heard from Bridging The Gap GDA, Inc. page in a while, but I’m happy to report that in keeping with one of the Pillars of the Foundation, today I made a monetary contribution to three primary schools in Grenada. Monetary donations were made to support the breakfast program at the Calliste Government School, St. George’s Methodist School, and St. Mary’s RC School. We continue to support our students.

It was refreshing to hear from the principals that since the breakfast program started, they’ve seen improvement students’ attendance, behavior and general deportment! Bravo!

This made me smile and tear up a bit. My foundation, BGI adaptive work in Grenada. Children at Calliste Government School, eating the cereals, and from the bowls I sent in June. We continue to support the students in Grenada. Thank you principal Fletcher. Have a good school year.

Dr. Bridgeman, while on a working visit to Grenada, fulfilled the promise he made to some pupils of St. Mary's RC School, bringing them new shoes for school.
Under our One Step at a Time initiative, we seek to help provide shoes to the most vulnerable students on the island.
Our Founder was happy to be able to help!

Our Founder Dr. Anthony Bridgeman, on a brief stopover in Grenada, last week donated more school supplies to the St. Mary's RC School He also made a monetary donation to the School Feeding Programme of the St. George's Methodist School, under our Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds initiative.

On behalf of my foundation, Bridging The Gap GDA, Inc. we donated six Google Chromebooks, two Projectors, Routers, erasers, chalk, pens, pencils, notebooks, and other school supplies to St. Mary’s RC School in Grenada.

Thank you principal Bowen, students and your faculty who were present for the handing over ceremony. Thank you for preparing my favorite meal.
