So some of you know that I have been in the hospital for the last two weeks. For our 41st wedding anniversary Donna and I shared yet another life experience - I had a stroke. Thanks to her quick recognition and action the stroke was mild the clot was busted and removed before it could do too much damage. Now the hospital wants to make our story and Donna’s actions a poster child for a stroke campaign. Dr Don at her best!
Nex year I think I’ll just go with flowers and dinner 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
I was discharged today with a pharmacy and an extensive therapy program to come.
I don’t recommend this path unless you love being poked and prodded on a very regular basis. I now know why they call it INTENSaiavaen Care!

The Thomas DeLitto and Sons Scholarship Fund was established in November 2006, in honor of Thomas DeLitto, a general contractor, who conducted the business of constructing many residential homes in Westchester County, NY during the 1950s and 1960s. The late father and sons, having been tradesman in carpentry, inspired the Fund’s mission of providing financial aid to college and trade school bound graduates from Mamaroneck, New York area high schools, whose parents are employed in the trades or general service occupations. This scholarship honors their strong work ethic and the sacrifices they made in providing opportunities for their children.

Scholarship Awards are made each year to Mamaroneck-area high school graduates whose parents have pursued careers in trade and service occupations, who exhibit a strong work ethic and have demonstrated a well-rounded high school experience including strong community service. Since it’s establishment in 2006, the TD & Sons Scholarship Fund has awarded over $296,000 in scholarships to Mamaroneck and Rye Neck area high school students.

The Thomas DeLitto & Sons Scholarship Fund grants scholarships to worthy high school graduates in the Mamaroneck, New York area, whose parent(s) / guardian(s) are employed or self-employed in a trade or service occupation. Scholarships are awarded each year to provide students with financial assistance to obtain an undergraduate academic degree, or complete a occupational training program.

Mission

The Thomas DeLitto & Sons Scholarship Fund awards scholarship grants to graduates of Mamaroneck, New York, area high schools with a parent or parents in a trade or service occupation. Scholarships are awarded to enable such students to pursue an undergraduate academic degree at a college or university or to meet the requirements for a professional, trade or technical designation by a qualified educational institution upon completion of a program of training for a recognized occupation.
