Collateral Repair Project - Building a Resilient Community CRP operates in Amman (Jordan) providing emergency assistance and community programs for refugees and vulnerable Jordanians.

Collateral Repair Project (CRP) is a grassroots refugee aid organization located in East Amman, a neighborhood home to a growing number of urban refugees from Syria and Iraq. Our bifold programming focuses on providing emergency assistance and community building workshops. Monthly food vouchers, medical support, fuel, and clothing are among the many services covered through our emergency assistanc

e program. Likewise, our community center in Hashemi Shamali is home to several support groups for teens and adults, as well as English classes, a women's craft co-op, yoga classes, and more.

Canva Graphic Design Course for Children
In today's digital world, graphic design is an essential skill that helps young people express their ideas creatively and confidently. Our Canva Graphic Design Course for children aged 11–15 introduces participants to the fundamentals of design while teaching them how to create social media posts, posters, advertisements, presentations, videos, and more using Canva.
Through hands-on projects, students will develop their creativity, digital skills, and understanding of effective design in a fun and inspiring learning environment.

في عالمنا الرقمي اليوم، صار التصميم مهارة مهمة تساعد الأطفال على التعبير عن أفكارهم بطريقة إبداعية. خلال هذه الدورة، سيتعرّف الأطفال من عمر 11 إلى 15 عاماً على أساسيات التصميم واستخدام كانفا لإنشاء منشورات، ملصقات، عروض تقديمية، فيديوهات، وغيرها من المشاريع الممتعة.

A sneak peek into our first Hope Kitchen Cooking Workshop.

We gathered with the women of Hope Kitchen to cook, share stories, and connect through food. Together, we explored flavors and traditions from Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, and across the Levant, with every meal carrying memories of home, culture, and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the workshop such a meaningful and heartwarming experience.

This month, we celebrated a special milestone for the children of the Early Childhood Education Program at our Hashmi Al Shamali Center as they graduated.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners at

At CRP, empowerment means giving girls the confidence to take up space, raise their voices, and stand strong for themselves and each other.

Through our Taekwondo program, these girls didn’t just learn new skills, they built confidence, discipline, and strength. Hearing one of the girls say that she now feels able to defend herself was such a powerful reminder of why programs like this matter.

At Collateral Repair Project, SuperBoys is a safe space where young boys build confidence, emotional wellbeing, and healthy relationships with themselves and others.

This May, we’re raising funds to support our mental health and psychosocial support programs.
Children need safe environments where they feel seen, heard, and respected.

For many women at CRP, Diwaniyah has become a place where they can speak openly about what they are carrying, be witnessed with care, and not feel alone.

Each week, women gather in a circle to share, listen, and reflect together without interruption or judgment. In that space, something begins to shift.
As we recognize both Mother’s Day and Mental Health Awareness Month, Diwaniyah is a reminder that healing can begin through sharing, reflection, and community.

“You don’t just leave your home, you risk losing who you are.”

For Yousif, that was the hardest part.

When he arrived in Jordan, everything felt unfamiliar.

New place, new people, and a growing distance from the person he used to be.

For a while, he kept to himself.
At CRP, he found art again.

Through it, he found a space to sit with others, create, express, and slowly reconnect with himself.

As May marks Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s a reminder that no one should have to go through that kind of isolation alone.
