HDSA New Mexico Volunteer Group HDSA is the premier nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by Huntington’s disease and their families.

Huntington's disease is a neurodegenerative brain disorder that takes away a persons ability to walk, talk, and reason. 1 in 10,000 American's has Huntington's, leaving 250,000 American's at-risk for this devastating disease. There is no cure or treatment as of yet to slow the progression of the disease. It affects most people between the ages of 30-50, but also children through Juvenile Huntington's between the ages of 2-20.
