The Changing Room has created an operating model that is to be integrated as a RESOURCE into any number
of the already existing organizations in New York City which are providing vital support for survival to girls
and women who are victims of violence and assault, such as housing, legal aid, medical etc. We are building on the experience and the successes of a variety of methodologies in the
fiel

d of trauma healing, focusing on the fact that in order for the women to move from surviving into thriving,
it takes a wholesome, long-term approach in which they are the protagonist NOT the professional. At the same time we are grateful to be collaborating with experienced professionals in each field.
