🎉 We are glad to share all of the artists in our 2026 Fellowship programming! Join us in welcoming them to the 2026 cohort!

VISION Fellowship

VOYAGER Fellowship

🌿 The VISION Fellowship emerges from the need to support developing AAPI artists, in collegiate or university settings, with support to immerse themself within the field and work being showcased. This $750 financial reimbursement allows space for a Fellow to cultivate a voice for themself by seeing performances and engaging with the arts community in addition to their collegiate development. With mentorship from Obremski/Works Associate and Obremski/Works Founder and Director , the Fellows receive year-round support for what they imagine and envision their future to be.

🌿 The VOYAGER Fellowship stems from deep empathy for those who go through the visa process. This fellowship is geared toward supporting the cultural sharing and diversity of our arts field in New York with international artists to the United States. The Fellow must be applying for their O-1 visa in the year of the award in which the $1,000 financial stipend is geared towards. In partnership with multiple organizations and individuals, the Fellow will be supported with access to visa application workshop(s), performance/choreographic opportunities, and receive a letter of recommendation from Obremski/Works Founder/Artistic Director .

‼️ Hot off the Press! "Coloratura US" (2025) Review!

🎨 "Coloratura US" is an evening-length work by Founder, Director, and Choreographer  to be premiered at during their Emerging Artist Residence program.

🌿 This site-specific work will highlight a colorful array of human emotions, connections, and injustices during war, wartime anxiety, and the heartbreak of dreams, showcasing that AAPI artists can advocate for more than just AAPI subjects.

🫂 The work will involve a partnership with  to incorporate live music by four musicians with Jesse Obremski as the vocalist, and all of the music being composed by Coldplay. Performed by artists .hishikawa .keeno , and joined by visual artists, and , "Coloratura US" is a world-building and life-affirming juxtaposition to our current global climate.
