⭐️Update on the friendly mama and four adorable babies being surrendered by a teenager who’s been trying their best .

❤️‍🩹They still are in need of a short or long term foster . We are in communication with the teenager to ensure they have support/care for the time being.

⭐️We are otherwise closed for intake (other than case by case special circumstances etc) until more cats and kittens are adopted , which, we obviously do not like to do . The reality is the crisis is too much for volunteer led groups to handle but we all do our best within our means .

🙏Please consider fostering or, adopting one or two of our amazing cats or kittens available for adoption, which helps make room for cats such as this little family, to be rescued.

🙌PS we have an adoption event next Saturday June 27th at Petsmart in Pelham Manor 12 to 4 pm where you can meet some available cats and kittens!

🆘 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR MAMA AND HER FOUR DAY OLD BABIES!! Located in the bronx , but can be fostered outside NYC.
‼️We received an urgent request yesterday from a HIGH SCHOOL student about her heavily pregnant cat that was about to give birth. Overnight , she gave birth to four babies.

⭐️The saddest part about this , she did try contacting the ASPCA about getting her spayed low cost (even a pregnant spay!) , she tried to do the right thing, and ASPCA denied her because she wasn’t in the right zip code . She didn’t know to reach out to rescues until now. She’s only in high school, is doing this on her own, and she tried to find help.

She made the decision to fully surrender her cat and the babies so they can be cared for , as she doesn’t have the resources.

Please help us find a happy ending for this mama cat and her babies. ⭐️Email [email protected] and please share! ⭐️

Spotlight on gorgeous Lucy! Located in Port Chester NY, this young girl has been passed over for a forever home multiple times , and doesn’t understand why. 💔 She is a truly lovely girl , who adores attention, being pet , and snuggling! She’s PURRFECT! 🤩

We are so sad for Lucy because she’s really stressed in her rescuers home and desperately seeks a foster or forever home with no cats. She just really prefers to be your only cat and will reward you with snuggles and purrs!

⭐️Our beautiful, lucky girl Faith , finally made it to a new , loving foster home recently!

☀️She is clearly ready for this summer weather, and taking it easy!

If you recall we posted months ago when Faiths adopter suddenly and tragically passed away. Without any family or friends to take her in , we of course took her back in, and have been trying to find her a new forever home ever since 🥹 She’s bounced around between a few foster homes since , but each time she settles back in with ease.

🐈Faith is a very sweet kitty, she coiled inside all her foster homes arms almost right away . While relaxed and cuddly, she also loves playing with toys and is a nimble girl!

Faith just wants to find a new forever home where she can be queen of the castle (just doesn’t prefer sharing her space with other cats) and relax in sunny windows, and your arms all day ☀️

She’s being fostered in Manhattan, but is available for adoption within a couple hours of NYC!

🐾Check out our current PetSmart Cats in Pelham Manor! These four cats are cared for by our wonderful group of volunteers, and all ready for their purrfect forever homes 💓

Boots - Incredibly handsome boy, with a quiet , gentle demeanor. He likes other cats , and would do great in a loving , attentive home

Michelina - A complete sweetheart , a few years old , and loves the boy cats at the adoption center , especially Peter and Hedlge

Peter - A spunky, outgoing , fun loving guy! He wins over everyone with his charm, and loves spending time with Michelina

Hedlge - A dapper , adult male , who perches in all the spaces he can find in the cat room! He is very friendly with people , and also loves hanging out with other cats! He gets his name because his head is so large 🤪 But don’t let that fool you, he’s not a tough guy at all!

‼️::Foster homes urgently needed::

Good morning! ☀️Greetings from sweet Jackson who asks “Who will foster me and give me the patience and love I so desperately seek?”

⭐️Jackson is just one of many cats we have seeking loving foster homes to continue to show them kindness and love so they can find their forever homes.

🥹Jackson’s rescuer has been keeping Jackson safe , but as of next week, he must move onto a loving foster home. (Originally it was this week but thankfully it was put off until next week so we have a small additional window of time).

🙏Ideally, we can place him by June 7th into a loving foster.

❤️‍🩹Jackson seeks a patient , kind foster , who can start him in a small space (such as a home office or bedroom without too many spaces to hide).

🦷He had a dental (TWICE!) and is finally pain free! Rescued from the cold , drooling in pain, and escaping an abandoned basement where a water pipe burst , he desperately followed his rescuer home.

🥳HUGE NEWS!🎉WYETH our incredible survivor was adopted into the most loving home this weekend!!

🥰She already adores him , has the best cat trees, and sunny windows for him to bask in. ☀️

🐈She specifically chose to adopt a senior kitty after her last cat just passed away. Adopting a senior cat is incredibly rewarding and we thank his new adopter for choosing him and seeing how incredible he is. 💓

😍Wyeth deserved a soft landing after enduring such trauma being starved to the brink of death . ❤️‍🩹

💔We were advised to euthanize Wyeth multiple times at the vet office because he was in such dire shape, but we knew he had fight in him and did not give up.

🥹Wyeth amazed us all , and was adored by his two foster homes! He’s a survivor and we are so happy he has a comfortable space to call his own for the rest of his life .
