We marked Day 5 of the Second Chance Education Program with teachers from regions 1 and 2 with group presentations. These explored solution proposals for some the many challenges affecting the ability of students to complete their education. We bid farewell to a committed group of educators and look forward to engaging with teachers from the other regions.

We start with Region 1 and 2 and will roll it out across all regions in the coming months. WELCOME HOME CHAMPIONS!!!!🇬🇲🇬🇲🇬🇲

What started with 35 students from 6 schools, produced a 6 students All-Stars and a national team. Against all odds TEAM Gambia came together in 3 weeks, made it to Ghana, and lost zero matches to come out winners of the Pan-African Robotics Competition. Congratulations to our African Champions!!!

This is a true manifestation of what results a collaborative work can breed. This is young people coming together,working with private institutions,governmental bodies, schools and most especially parents. We believed in one goal and we got to reap the rewards of our months of tireless work. Our aim is to promote STEM education in The Gambia by establishing a Robotics Hub,which will produce the next generation of scientists in our region.
