The L Train Brass Band

The L Train Brass Band Brooklyn, NY-based nonprofit community band with nearly 100 brass, reed and percussion musicians.

Since its humble beginning in 2017, the L Train Brass Band (LTBB) steadily grew from a small brass band enthusiasts’ meetup to what is now an organized collective of nearly 70 contributing member-musicians. This community approach allows the band to adapt to a variety of public, private, and educational performance situations from a 12-piece party band to a massive marching unit, or virtually anyt

hing in-between. LTBB continues to accelerate its growth as the main performance ensemble of the Brooklyn Brass Band Collective. As part of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, LTBB serves the NYC music community by providing a truly unique, engaging – and most importantly, FUN – experience for adult musicians of all levels. L Train Brass Band fosters a safe and friendly creative environment by promoting self-expression and welcoming individuals from all musical backgrounds and walks of life. Their ever-growing, socially-conscious community offers the most exciting way to pick up a horn, hit the streets, and start playing music!

Join us for our second annual Open House on May 24th from 11:30 - 1 PM at ! All you need is you and your instrument. FREE!!! 🎺🎷

(This is event is open to all trumpets, trombones, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones, baritone horns, mellophones, clarinets, and tubas 21+. You must have your own horn, be able to read music, and have some past playing experience to participate. Optional group hangout to follow. )
