The Concordia Annual Summit has never been defined by a single headline moment.

It is the ability to move from a conversation with a head of state, to a private sector roundtable, to a hallway exchange that turns into a meaningful long-term relationship.

Over the years, the Summit has welcomed presidents, prime ministers, Fortune 500 CEOs, Nobel Laureates, entrepreneurs, and cultural icons. More importantly, it has created the environment where those conversations can actually happen.

This week, our delegation joined the 2026, alongside government ministers, investors, and global business leaders from across the region and beyond.

The conversations ranged from critical minerals and AI infrastructure to regional connectivity, sanctions, and the economic case for stability.

Armenia is at a crossroads, geographically, geopolitically, and economically. The opportunity is real. So are the headwinds. That’s exactly where Concordia belongs.

Over the years, the Venezuelan people’s pursuit of human rights and a democratic solution to this crisis have inspired the world. Yesterday’’s events in Venezuela are part of what has been an ongoing focus for the Concordia community. This struggle resonates deeply with Concordia’s core values of promoting dialogue and democracy worldwide. We have had the honor of highlighting the voices of prominent leaders, eyewitnesses, and figures central to solving the country’s recent history.

At the 2024 Annual Summit, we virtually hosted MarĂ­a Corina Machado, who bravely spoke from Venezuela about her commitment to returning her country to democracy. In addition to MarĂ­a Corina, we have hosted Venezuelan leaders like Juan Guiado on The Swift Hour and Leopoldo Lopez on panels concerning the situation alongside Latin American leaders such as H.E. Jorge-Tuto Fernando Quiroga, H.E. Laura Chinchilla, and H.E. JosĂŠ MarĂ­a Aznar, and brought insights from US officials such as Rick Scott.

Concordia is committed to maintaining Venezuela at the forefront of our programming, ensuring this critical topic receives the attention it deserves. We and our community hope for a peaceful and democratic solution as events unfold in Venezuela.

As the 39th President of the United States, he championed diplomacy, international peace, and human rights—principles that align deeply with our mission to foster collaboration in addressing today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.

We were lucky enough to be immersed in the surrounding culture as well, forging friendships and trading stories.
