We're all about lifting up our community, and we couldn’t do it without the love and support we get from amazing individuals and organizations.

What we do is always driven by the needs of our community first. However, there are times when an idea leads to a new initiative, or a generous donation sparks something incredible. These pictures show just a small part of the collective energy and heart that goes into serving and empowering our community. We're so grateful for everyone who helps make this possible. Together, we're building something truly powerful.

This month, it's hosted by the Jamaica & Mott Haven Community Partnerships 🤝🫂

Join to learn about After-school Programs and Translation Services provided by NYC Public Schools (NYCPS) and the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD).

The Education Forum is a collaboration between NYC Children (Office of Community Engagement & Partnerships and Education and Employment) and NYC Public Schools (DOE New York City Public Schools) and is facilitated by the eleven Community Partnerships.

The Forums are held virtually by
💻 **Zoom on the 3rd Thursday of every month from
🕐11:00 AM to Noon and 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

They aim to help all NYC parents, caregivers, and providers of students in the City's public schools best navigate systems and processes and to access resources.

The collaboration between NYC Children, NYC Public Schools, and the Community Partnerships makes it possible for families to: engage directly with DOE content experts to answer questions or address concerns (in real-time); receive insight and tools to fully engage in the public school system; heighten the overall educational experience; and ensure the academic success of their children.

This session is equipped with **Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole language translation**. Other language translations, if requested in advance, can be made available.

Today's Sidewalk Support Hub was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who stopped by for resources, support, and community connection.

Keep an eye out for us in the next 2 weeks for the next one. We're always available if there's a need.

This initiative brings our office outside, allowing community members to see and talk to us in real-time on the streets of East Harlem. 💪🏽

¡El Hub de Apoyo en la Acera de hoy fue un gran éxito! Gracias a todos los que pasaron por recursos, apoyo y conexión comunitaria. Estén atentos en las próximas 2 semanas para el próximo. Siempre estamos disponibles si hay una necesidad. Esta iniciativa saca nuestra oficina a la calle, permitiendo a los miembros de la comunidad vernos y hablar con nosotros en tiempo real en las calles de East Harlem. 💪🏽
