THANK YOU for coming out last week to our Fall Mixer, a social gathering bringing together KAFSC leadership, Help USAÂ , and a diverse group of participating organizations that are driven by the mission of recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
We hope you had a chance to learn more about this important issue in our community, meet our respresentatives, and connect with each other. If you're interested in learning more or joining our associate board, please reach out to us here on ig or at [email protected].
Esther Limb, Board Chair for The Korean American Family Service Center, Jeehae Fischer, Executive Director for The Korean American Family Service Center, and Special Guest Charnell Neptune-Darby, Director of Social Services for Help USA, shared a few remarks highlighting the importance of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, driving home the point that collectively we are continuing to provide our culturally and linguistically appropriate services and settings for survivors of gender-based domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and creating a violence-free society. An evening of collaborating, learning, and sharing our resources with civic-minded individuals driven by KAFSC’s mission to creating a violence-free society.
In attendance were representatives from the following: Korean American Community Foundation Associate Board , Korean Community Services , SOM Asian Alliance , The Korea Society , and Korea Finance Society .
Thank you all who came out to the Fall Mixer! We'll see you again soon!
