ng 941 incidents of cardiac arrest at the company’s health centers in 2010. Instead of informing patients receiving dialysis treatment about this danger, Fresenius kept it quiet. It wasn’t until an internal memo was leaked to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in March 2012 that patients learned dialysis treatment with the products carried a 6-8x increased risk of heart injury and possible death. The FDA issued its highest level of recall in June 2012 for GranuFlo and NaturaLyte to protect patients. Compensation may be available for those who have suffered cardiac arrest as a result of dialysis treatment with GranuFlo and NaturaLyte. Fresenius needs to be held accountable for its lack of responsibility and the harm it cause you and your family.
