Shavuot is a holiday of renewal, resilience, and community — a reminder that even after hardship, healing and new beginnings are possible.

Since October 7, the number of wounded warriors in Israel has risen from approximately 50,000 to more than 75,000, with a new generation now beginning its rehabilitation journey.

At Beit Halochem, we remain committed to providing wounded warriors with lifelong care, rehabilitation, and support. Your support helps ensure that no warrior walks this journey alone.

Wishing you and your loved ones a meaningful and joyful Shavuot. 💙

A powerful new chapter is tipping off across Israel. 🏀

The “Back to the Game” project is helping wounded warriors and victims of terror return to the court, reconnect with community, and rediscover strength through the game of basketball.

In partnership with the Israeli Basketball Association and led by former Israeli national team player Raviv Limonad, teams have already launched in Gush Etzion, Ashdod, Netanya, and the Upper Galilee — with more expected to open across Israel soon.

This is more than basketball.
It’s rehabilitation.
It’s brotherhood.
It’s resilience in action.

Your support helps wounded warriors rebuild their lives through sports therapy, emotional healing, and community at Beit Halochem rehabilitation centers across Israel.

Coming soon to Eilat 🇮🇱

A new “Mini Beit Halochem” - a villa currently being renovated into a rehabilitation and community center for wounded warriors living in the south.

Israel’s periphery stands at the heart of our vision, and the organization is exploring a broader initiative to establish additional Mini Beit Halochem centers throughout regions across the country. This initiative reflects our commitment to expanding access to rehabilitation, care, and community support for wounded warriors wherever they live.

Dror Cohen, a member of Beit Halochem Tel Aviv, was severely injured in a traffic accident and left paralyzed from the waist down - but he chose life.

Today, he is on his way to compete in The Hellas Rally in Greece, an international off-road rally raid - a multi-day endurance race across challenging terrain that tests skill, navigation, and resilience.

Dror showcases his specially adapted vehicle, designed to allow him to drive and compete at the highest level.

He had never picked up a basketball before his injury.

Now, he says: “Basketball saved my life in the darkest moments.”

At Beit Halochem, our wheelchair basketball program gives wounded warriors the opportunity to rebuild strength, find community, and rediscover purpose.

Eden Ram survived the unimaginable.

Shot 12 times at the Urim base on October 7th, she lay wounded, sending farewell messages to her family as she fought to stay alive.

Today, her fight continues - not on the battlefield, but in recovery.

At Beit Halochem Jerusalem, Eden has found strength, healing, and community.
“It’s like my second home… a place where I don’t feel shame.”

This is what recovery looks. Be apart of her healing and thousands of wounded warriors' journeys: https://hubs.la/Q04dnTS50

Yom Ha’atzmaut at Beit Halochem Tel Aviv 🇮🇱🤍

Yesterday, Beit Halochem families came together to celebrate Israel’s Independence Day with a day full of energy, joy, and community.

The program featured a lively performance by children’s favorite Dod Haim, followed by a main show from Tikva 6 - just a glimpse of the many attractions and activities throughout the day.

A powerful reminder of the strength, resilience, and spirit that define the Beit Halochem community. 🇮🇱🤍

This Yom Ha’atzmaut, we celebrate Israel’s strength and independence 🇮🇱

But that independence comes at a cost. While many plan their futures, Israel’s heroes risk everything to protect them.

For thousands of wounded warriors, the battle doesn’t end when they return home. It becomes a lifelong journey.

Beit Halochem is there every step of the way, providing rehabilitation, healing, and a lifelong community.

They secured Israel’s independence. Now, it's our responsibility to help secure their future.

Israel stands still.

On Yom HaZikaron, we remember the fallen warriors who gave their lives in defense of the Jewish state, and the victims of terror taken too soon.

Behind every name is a story. A family. A future that will never be realized.

Across the country, sirens sound, and an entire nation pauses together. In those quiet moments, we reflect on the true cost of independence.

May their memories always be a blessing.
