A pivotal moment in our history

After years of collaboration on community arts projects, George A. Russell, Jr. helped Rhythm Visions secure its first-ever grant from State Street Corporation during his tenure as Executive Vice President, Director of Corporate Citizenship, and President of the State Street Foundation.

That funding allowed us to officially launch our own programming and begin building the foundation for the work we continue today.

Thirty years later, we're still creating opportunities for artists and communities: a testament to the power of early support and a shared belief in the vision.
