Today, we honor Juneteenth which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States on June 19, 1865. At O4U, we stand in solidarity with the Black community and recognize the significance of this day. As an organization committed to fostering inclusivity, justice, and empowerment, we honor the struggles and achievements of those who fought for freedom and equality throughout history and those who continue to do so today.
Juneteenth is also a day of reflection, education, and action. We encourage you to take a moment to learn more about today's historical significance (https://nmaahc.si.edu/juneteenth), engage in conversations, and support organizations working towards racial equity.
