Our goal is to establish an annual Disability Pride parade in New York City A group of people with disabilities, friends & families; in NYC.

The mission of Disability Pride NYC is to promote inclusion, awareness, and visibility of people with disabilities, and redefine public perception of disability. Have formed a non-profit organization, revitalizing the pride and independence of people with disabilities everywhere! Establishinhdisability pride in NYC. We have a rich history of pride events, and want to build on that and more with our friends and allies who hold fantastic events around the U.S.!

We all belong, no matter our culture, language, or lived experiences.

That’s why NYC Belongs: Together for All, a new initiative of Project Access for All communities, is calling upon our City Council to fund annual free events for our community, including the Disability Pride Parade, Disability Unite Festival, and Disability Pride Month events in each borough through the Speaker’s Initiative.
