š¶ And Iād give up forever to touch you⦠š¶
Walking past Marleyās kennel is extremely upsetting. She is typically panting, barking, jumping, or seemingly unable to settle. This is called kennel stress. We hope youāll keep reading.
Marley is not showing you who she is.
She is showing you what 8 months in a shelter feels like.
Rottweilers are deeply devoted dogs. They donāt just love their people, they anchor themselves to them. They thrive on routine, connection, and knowing where they belong. When that world disappears, many donāt shut down. They unravel.
Outside of the shelter, Marley is a completely different dog. Sheās a 5-year-old purebred Rottweiler who loves her people with her whole heart. She walks beautifully on leash, enjoys her toys, and is happiest simply being close to the humans she loves. Sheās the kind of dog who wants to be your shadow, your companion, your best friend.
But every day she spends in a kennel chips away a little more at her spirit.
Marley didnāt choose this life. She didnāt choose to grow older in a shelter. She didnāt choose to spend month after month wondering why no one picks her.
What Marley needs isnāt another day in a kennel. She needs someone to finally see the dog behind the stress.
She needs a home. ā¤ļø
