Books4Everyonect Books4Everyone provides gently used books to needy schools and community organizations

Books 4 Everyone is a matchmaking service between people who have gently used books, and those who need them. We distribute on average 40,000 books annually to schools, senior centers and community organizations in Fairfield County. This blog describes some of our daily activities and should give donors and book recipients a chance to get to know a little bit about each other. If you want to learn more about our organization, donate books or get books, please go to our website Books4everyone.org

Congratulations to Kiki Taylor, a Greenwich Academy student and founder of Page Not Found, who gathered books from Books4Everyone and Darien Book Aid to provide free books at a food pantry in Stamford hosted by Filling In the Blanks.

She said "It was especially meaningful to watch kids and families take their time looking through the tables, finding books they were excited about, and leaving with something new to read. Everyone deserves access to books of their own"

Kudos to Olivia Tuzel, who delivered over 8,000 books to children during her high school career. Now that she is off to college, she was kind enough to donate her remaining 1,200 books to the Book Swap this weekend. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much to Jemma and Nash who did a huge Kids book drive for us - all of which have already found new homes!

Thanks so much to Sana Rathi, a Westhill High School student, who ran a book drive that netted over 150 great kids books - which were immediately distributed at our neighborhood bookcase on Lockwood Avenue in Stamford. Bravo Sana!
