We distribute on average 40,000 books annually to schools, senior centers and community organizations in Fairfield County. Late last year, Meredith Sampson, a lifelong resident of Old Greenwich and one of the Book Swap’s regular customers, passed away. Meredith was known throughout Greenwich for her love of nature, birding, and the gentle care she provided to animals as a wildlife rehabilitator. Meredith had an extensive personal library and her friends made a generous donation of some of her most beloved books to the Book Swap with the hope that others may find joy in reading them.
