A very special tradition at the National Economics Challenge: students from the U.S. and China exchange gifts during a cultural exchange event that wraps up the first day of competition before finalists are announced. It’s a great way to build camaraderie between all of these incredibly talented students.

The NEC Finals spotlight the top-performing teams among more than 20,000 students who competed across the U.S. and China. After advancing through state and regional competitions, 32 finalist teams earned their place in the championship round, including 16 teams from the U.S. and 16 from China.

Special thank you to Morgan Stanley, our NEC National Partner, and to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta for hosting this year’s Finals!
