✨ What a night at the 2026 Fiver Benefit! ✨

Together, we raised over $1.5 million to support Fiver youth and families 💚

We were proud to honor Richard Golaszewski and Shannon Westfall, Donald Webbe, and Jennifer Yount & John Cobb (Paul Hastings Global Finance Practice) with the Richard Adams Leadership Award, and Terry Yardley, Bonnie Blanchard, and Dana Wratten with the Thomas & Heather Tucker Visionary Award.

We also heard powerful reflections from Valerie Lopez ’22, Saul Rivera ’26, Fiver parent Vanessa Branch, and Fiver staff member Anthony Silvera—reminding us what it truly means to be a Fiver.

Thank you to our incredible community for making the night unforgettable. Once a Fiver, Always a Fiver. ✨

Tomorrow is the day! Fiver’s 2026 Annual Benefit is officially less than 24 hours away.

We’re excited to gather in celebration of the tradition of Once a Fiver, Always a Fiver and the incredible community that continues to make Fiver possible year after year.

We’ll also have the privilege of recognizing this year’s honorees and sharing more about the young people and families at the heart of Fiver’s mission.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Fiver and Neuberger's Investment Camp! This week Fivers visited Neuberger for the concluding session of our Investment Camp and winter internship programs. They had the chance to talk about the final outcomes of their stock portfolio and picks, played jeopardy, and celebrated the journey of the last few weeks alongside some of our Fiver Champions 🏦

Meet our 2026 Benefit Honorees and recipients of the Thomas & Heather Tucker Visionary Award! 💚🥂✨

Join us in celebrating Bonnie Blanchard, Terry Yardly, and Dana Wratten at our Annual Benefit on Thursday, May 14th. The evening will celebrate their collective impact — honoring their leadership, vision, and commitment that has strengthened our community and advanced our mission to empower youth across New York.

We’re deeply grateful for their many years of service to Camp Fiver and for the vital role they’ve played in shaping and supporting generations of Fivers.

We’re proud to share that Fiver has been selected as a recipient of the Central New York Community Foundation’s IDEA (Internal Diversity, Equity & Action) Grant. This support will strengthen equity-centered staff development, expand leadership pathways for our team, and deepen Fiver’s storytelling efforts.

Through this grant, we will also provide DEI and LGBTQIA+ affirming training for both staff and community members. We’ve previously partnered with CNYCF to advance culturally responsive support and address the diverse needs of the Central New York community, and we’re excited to build on that work. This opportunity allows us to respond to emerging community needs with intention, care, and a continued commitment to equity ✨

Last week during spring break Fiver hosted mini camp for participants filled with fun and adventure! Here are some of our highlights the weeks outdoor programming: from a ferry ride to see the statue of liberty to petting string rays in the New York aquarium, Fivers had a unforgettable week of fun💚🗽🐟
