At the ACF 2025 Patient Summit, Wenda shared her a**l cancer story and the moment she realised she didn't have to go through it alone.

"I was linked up through the peer-to-peer program with Christine, who was truly an angel for me at a time when I needed so much emotional and mental support."

Watch the video from last year’s event to hear her experience in her own words.

A**l cancer is often preventable, yet thousands are diagnosed every year. Early cell changes usually cause no symptoms, so most people don't know they're at risk.

These changes can be found early. Our partners at the International A**l Neoplasia Society have created the first-ever international A**l Cancer Prevention Screening Toolkit, offering practical guidance for patients, providers and advocates alike.

Prevention is still the best treatment. Oncology nurse Faith Selchick makes the case for why HPV awareness can't wait: HPV causes more than 36,000 cancers a year in the US, and vaccination could prevent over 90% of them.

Framing the HPV vaccine as what it is, cancer prevention, changes everything. Read more below.

The future of oncology is not only about delivering better cancer treatment. It is also about ensuring fewer people ever need it.

When Angela Falk was going through treatment for a**l cancer, she went looking for a book that reflected what she was actually living through and couldn't find one. So she decided to write it.

Treated at MD Anderson, Angela turned her experience with chemotherapy and radiation into a memoir: The Whisper and the Fire: A Journey Through Cancer, Surrender, and Finding My Voice. It walks from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship, written for both patients and the people who love them.

A**l cancer can feel isolating, and stigma too often keeps people from talking about it. Stories like Angela's are part of how we change that.

A portion of the proceeds from every copy goes toward helping cancer patients who are struggling to afford treatment.
