Great article, written by Dame Teresa Farney, about her recent experience at the Aspen Wine Classic. A highlight was the seminar “The Women Behind Italy’s Most Coveted Wines,” led by Bobby Stuckey, founder of the James Beard Award-winning and Michelin-starred Frasca Hospitality Group in Boulder, and Carlin Karr, the group’s wine and beverage director and Les Dames d'Escoffier Colorado Chapter's President. Cheers!🍷

Colorado Dames doing Good! 💙

We ❤️ our Volunteer Days especially with Project Angel Heart (PAH)! We had 2 crews of Dames on Friday with the morning crew chopping 400+ lbs of potatoes and the afternoon crew dishing up 2,000+ meals to be served next week.

Project Angel Heart ❤️ is a Denver-based non-profit that provides free, medically tailored meals to Coloradans with severe illnesses like cancer, HIV/AIDS, and heart/kidney/lung disease, operating on the principle that nutritious food is medicine.

Cheers to Aaron, an ex-student of Marlene’s at JWU, for his hard work at PAH. 🙌🙌🙌

🌈 Pride Month is a reminder that ALL the people behind our food matter.

Across the country, LGBTQ+ farmers, chefs, food entrepreneurs, and food justice advocates are helping shape a more equitable and resilient food system. Their creativity, leadership, and passion strengthen local food communities every day.

This June, we celebrate the many voices that make our food system more vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming.
