On Saturday, August 29th from 10am-2pm, the DMV mobile unit will be visiting Clay Pit Ponds State Park Preserve.

Visit the Nature Interpretive Center (2351 Veterans Rd West) to get your REAL ID and handle all other DMV business (except license plates).

Sidewalks from sewer project update-

From DDC- as per construction team the concrete sidewalk scaling issues is bit more complicated than originally anticipated.

They will not leave the sidewalk in its current deficient condition and they are working closely with various contractors to come up with an acceptable concrete design mix so that work can begin shortly thereafter. They are seeing this same issue on other DDC projects. Will push to get a time frame for starting replacement

Ask, and ask again, and you shall receive. Thank you National Park Service for having the landscaping crew cut down the high weeds between the guardrail and NDL below CGA. Maybe some people will be less inclined to dump their trash where it won’t be hidden by the weeds.

Notify NYC - Travel Advisory - Heavy Rain 7/28 & 7/29
NYCEM has issued a travel advisory from 7/28-7/29, NYers are advised to prepare for potential rain & thunderstorms Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning.
NWS has forecasted 2-5 inches of rainfall across the city with locally higher amounts possible. Rainfall rates of 2-3 inches per hour are possible in stronger thunderstorms, which can lead to potentially widespread flash flooding, with low-lying and poor drainage areas at the highest risk.
