Strengthening transparency and civil society engagement at the UN Security Council.

Through WFUNA’s ongoing Civil Society Dialogues, civil society organizations engage directly with representatives of the rotating UNSC Presidency to discuss the Council’s Programme of Work, priorities, and global challenges.

Recent dialogues featured:
📍November 2025 – Mr. Alan E. George, on behalf of UNSC President Ambassador Dr. Michael Imran Kanu (Sierra Leone)
📍December 2025 – Deputy Permanent Representative H.E. Ms. Ondina Blokar Drobič (Slovenia)
📍 February 2026 – Ambassador Archie Young (United Kingdom)

Since 2017, WFUNA has hosted 68 Civil Society Dialogues, helping connect the work of the Security Council with civil society around the world.
