This building on Atlantic Avenue between Vanderbilt and Underhill just entered the City affordable housing lottery with 48 deeply affordable apartments. Residents of Brooklyn community district 8 (which includes Prospect Heights) get preference for 10 of them.

It's not fair that gentrification has caused long-time owners of historic houses in Prospect Heights lose access to preservation tax credits that can offset the costs of maintaining their homes. We're urging Governor Hochul sign State Senate bill S405 extending access their access to credits.
