Culinary students from JHS 218 gained hands-on experience in culinary ethics, safety, and the rich food culture during an immersive visit to in Ridgewood, Queens. Their learning extended to productivity and community service as they helped packaged food for delivery to a neighborhood shelter.

Our Options team had a great time participating in Career Day with Health Opportunities HS, Queens Preparatory HS, and Pulse HS! We spoke to students about our free workshops and careers in law enforcement. Thank you for having us!

In honor of Women’s history month, our Youth Ambassador Kai led a workshop on the strength and impact of women in society. We discussed influential women and ended with an activity where the youth shared their favorite quotes. What a great time!

Yesterday, our Options Ambassadors visited the 46 precinct Community Council meeting. It was a great time interacting with community member’s and providing information about the Options program.

Our Options Ambassador mission is to be advocates for the community as a whole and serve as role models in our community.

The Brooklyn Options team had the honor of presenting to school counselors and parent coordinators from districts 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 23, and 32 at Fashion Institute of Technology. We look forward to ongoing collaboration with our new partners.

Today, our youth from Ps. 210 joined us at the Options Wellness Center to participate in our gaming, virtual reality, and music workshops.
