In honor of Juneteenth, Prema Yoga Brooklyn (976 Fulton) is offering complimentary classes for all BIPOC community members from June 19th - 21st. This has become a meaningful PREMA tradition - an opportunity to support rest, resilience, and belonging. If you'd like to join, email [email protected] and get registered for the class of your choice.

💫 In honor of Pride Month, the One-Day Choir on Sunday, June 21st from 3–5pm led by Kenter Davies will be singing Kacey Musgraves' Rainbow - a song about hope, perseverance, and trusting that brighter days are ahead.

💫 All choir proceeds will benefit The Okra Project, a Black trans-led organization supporting Black trans people, and PREMA will match all donations raised.

It’s WARNING season, NYC.

In the last week, New York City Department of Sanitation handed out nearly 5,000 warnings to 1-9 unit buildings that are not using the official NYC Bin for trash.

Tickets, with a fine attached, will be issued starting September 8. YOU CAN AVOID A TICKET! Trash bins are in stock, and more are arriving daily. Info: https://www.nyc.gov/site/dsny/collection/containerization/nyc-bins.page

(And remember, 1-9 unit buildings can already get a ticket now if trash is not in a bin at all.)
