We are a grassroots Indian organization working to empower women and girls to resist and end s*x trafficking. We help communities of survivors and those at-risk to access education, healthcare, job training, and legal empowerment -- breaking the cycle of poverty and discrimination that forces women into prostitution.

Every year on July 30th, we unite with policymakers, advocates, and survivors in a shared call to action: end human trafficking in all its forms.

For , we bring urgent attention to this year’s theme, “Trapped Behind the Scam,” which reflects the fastest-growing form of human trafficking.

This campaign sheds light on how digital tools are being used by organized crime groups to traffic people in forced labor schemes.

Knowing how perpetrators operate allows us to disrupt their tactics—and ensure communities have the safe, dignified opportunities to prevent exploitation.

🎨 Meet the final artist in our 2026 Art + Activism Residency: Sonya Soni!

Sonya Soni is a Brooklyn-based writer-activist, community organizer, designer, prison abolitionist, and the descendant of freedom fighters from her homeland of Punjab.

From Kashmir to South Los Angeles, she organizes alongside youth leaders who have been incarcerated, unhoused, and/or trafficked, helping reimagine systems rooted in youth liberation. Sonya designed “Participatory Policymaking through Poetry” workshops for The Lower Eastside Girls Club for young aspiring women policymakers of color in New York City.

She often writes about textiles as protest, decolonial systems design, diasporic longings, and transborder social movements. As a Kweli Literary Fellow, she is currently working on her forthcoming book, “The Gorra, the Gringa, and the Muzungu.”
