My solo trip to Jamaica 🇯🇲 was nothing short of perfect. Every moment, every photo captured my growth, my healing, and the woman I am becoming.
This trip taught me how to truly be alone, to hone in on myself, and to take risks. I stepped outside of my comfort zone in ways I normally wouldn’t I went scuba diving, ATV riding, spent time on the beach, met new people in passing, and even went horseback riding in the ocean.
For me, those were real fears and risks. But I embraced them.
I’m not usually a risky person, but I’ve learned that there is no reward without risk… and new heights don’t come from staying comfortable.
As I step into this next chapter as a doctoral student, I feel aligned, optimistic, and deeply encouraged. I’m not just entering a new journey, I’m stepping into a new version of myself with boldness, confidence, and purpose.
New heights await me. And I’m ready. ✨
