A Jewish fraternity house belonging to Alpha Epsilon Pi members at UC San Diego was vandalized with antisemitic and racist graffiti in an attack police are investigating as a hate crime. This was an act intended to intimidate Jewish students and make them fear for their safety in their own community.

Antisemitic intimidation cannot be normalized as part of campus life. Those responsible must be identified and held accountable under the law, and UC San Diego must ensure Jewish students can live and study free from targeted harassment and threats.

The University of Washington was right to cancel its planned lecture featuring Hasan Piker after determining that the event failed to meet the standards required for its university-hosted Speaker Series.

While we believe in the First Amendment, universities still have a responsibility to enforce their rules and exercise institutional judgment over whom they choose to elevate through official programming. Free speech protects the right to express even deeply offensive views. It does not create an entitlement to a university-sponsored platform.

UW was right to enforce its standards, and other institutions should take their obligations just as seriously.

Antisemitism in healthcare has surged since October 7, yet fewer than 2% of surveyed institutions were reported to include antisemitism in anti-discrimination training. In the U.S., 88% of surveyed Jewish medical students and physicians reported experiencing antisemitism since October 7.

Healthcare institutions have a duty to protect Jewish students, doctors, and patients from discrimination. Ignoring antisemitism while claiming to uphold anti-discrimination standards is an institutional failure that demands accountability.

Haverford College has settled a federal civil rights lawsuit brought by Jewish students who say the school failed to protect them from antisemitic harassment and anti-Zionist hostility following October 7. As part of the settlement, Haverford agreed to mandatory annual antisemitism training, an advisory Antisemitism Committee, and identification requirements for masked protesters. College President Wendy Raymond also publicly apologized, calling the hostile environment “a failure on the part of the college” and affirming that discrimination or harassment targeting Jewish, Israeli, or Zionist students violates college policy.

This settlement sends an important message to universities nationwide: failing to protect Jewish students from discrimination carries consequences.

One of Britain’s largest Muslim charities is accused of being used as a front to funnel money and truckloads of goods to Hamas under the guise of humanitarian aid. Its global director has been arrested in London and faces extradition to the U.S. on terrorism-financing charges.

The allegations have triggered a statutory investigation into the Al-Khair Foundation, which reported more than £74 million in income in 2025.

All of our governments have a responsibility to ensure that humanitarian aid initiatives do not become a shield for terrorist financing.

Toronto’s Bathurst and Sheppard corner is known to be a Jewish area and for three years, pro-Hamas protesters have swarmed that corner to harass and rally against Jews, at one point even dressing as Yahya Sinwar, the former leader of Hamas to planned and carried out the October 7 massacre.

Daniela Bonamico is one of the group’s professional protesters and now she has been prohibited to be within 500 meters of that intersection.

This is one of many steps Canada needs to take to start safeguarding their Jewish community.

Very disturbing to hear DSA co-chair Megan Romer claim that October 7th was "largely inevitable" and admit she "probably would have" attended a pro-Hamas rally the day after the massacre.

To hear such misrepresentation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and such justification for violence is unacceptable and will have deeper ramifications in our society.

Thankfully, Joe Scarborough appropriately calls out Romer’s comments and every politician that has yet to condemen the vile rhetoric coming out of the DSA.
