Happy Friday! We would like to request your assistance with a brief capacity building demand and pricing survey. As Support Center embarks on our own strategic planning process, we’re looking to understand how organizations are investing in capacity building services. If you would like to be a part of this study, please complete the survey by March 18 – it should take no more than ten minutes.

This survey can be completed by executive directors, board chairs, and senior staff with knowledge of their organization's investments in capacity building such as training, coaching, and consulting. We will provide an overview and key findings to all participating organizations.

Take the survey here: https://bit.ly/3vmWKFi

Are you interested in better understanding the utilization and investment nonprofits are making in training, coaching, and consulting supports? We are too! As such, we would like to request the participation of nonprofits in our brief market & pricing survey here: https://bit.ly/3vmWKFi. We will provide an overview and key findings to all participating organizations. Please spread the word.

As Support Center embarks on our own strategic planning process, we’re looking to understand the frequency with which organizations utilize these services and the range of investments that organizations are making. Support Center will use this information to learn more about the current marketplace for services, to consider more equitable pricing models, and to make the case to funders for additional support for capacity building services. If you would like to be a part of this study, please fill out the survey before March 18, 2022 – it should take no more than ten minutes.

Educational Arts Team is looking for its next Executive Director!

Founded in 1974, the Educational Arts Team (EAT) is dedicated to bettering the educational and social lives of young people through creative writing, dance, drama, storytelling, music, and visual art. The organization fosters the creative spirit of children out of a belief that imagination is a positive force, which can change a child’s world. Through the arts, EAT helps children increase their self-worth, discover their individuality, gain pride in their heritage and community, heighten their academic achievement, and create a vision of a larger world where they can achieve their goals. EAT offers year-round workshops for students, hands-on training and professional development for educators, as well as holistic literacy workshops for parents and children to learn together. During the summer months, EAT operates Camp Liberty, an eight-week camp that provides over 1,000 children each year with artistic, cultural, and recreational experiences in a beautiful outdoor setting.

EAT is currently looking for its next Executive Director. A full description including key responsibilities & the ideal candidate’s qualifications, as well as application instructions, can be found at the link below.

Support Center is thrilled to announce the dates for our upcoming Spring Interim Executive Director Training, which will be held on March 18 and 25, 2022! This will be the first of two trainings in 2022, with the second taking place in the fall.

Here's what one of our participants from the Fall 2021 Training had to say - "it was an intense and terrific experience to be a member of such an extremely intelligent group of talented, curious, accomplished, progressive people. There is a wealth of opportunity available for the group to reconvene, to learn from one another, to discuss pressing issues (social, political, how to be a strong and effective leader), and to toss about questions about being an interim ED."

For more details on the program, and to submit an application, please follow the link below.
