A beautiful message ❣️

Loving to be a grandma and being loved by the grandchildren is pure bliss.

Having so many grandbabies is a blessing.

Grandparents and grandchildren are natural allies. 👴👵

There’s something special about the bond between them.

Grandparents have stories, wisdom, patience, and life experience.

Grandchildren bring curiosity, energy, technology, and a connection to the future.
They have what the other generation lacks.
But then… life gets in the way.
Different cities.
Different routines.
Different generations.
Different worlds.
And slowly…
A natural bond can become a distant relationship.

But here’s the important part:
The alliance was never really gone.
The problem isn’t necessarily a lack of love.
It’s the barriers between them.

Fewer visits.
Fewer conversations.
Fewer shared moments.
Fewer memories made together.
And eventually, two people who could have been incredibly close…
…can feel like strangers who happen to be family.
But it doesn’t have to stay that way.

Give them reasons to talk.
Give them things to share.
Give them opportunities to create memories together.
Because grandparents and grandchildren aren't just two generations.

They can be natural allies.

🌉 They just need a bridge.

Grandma's Chair

The old green chair sits empty now,
Her gentle voice is gone somehow.
The kitchen's quiet, cold, and bare,
No cinnamon floats through the air.

Her stories lost, her laughter too,
The holidays feel sad and blue.
I reach to call her, then I know—
She's not there anymore to go.

The house is just a house today,
The warmth she brought has slipped away.
And though I smile and carry on,
A part of me is always gone.

For once she's not there anymore,
Life's never, ever like before.

Grandma once said-

The hands that rock the cradle first,
Must teach the child through growing years,
To quench a selfish, demanding thirst,
And dry the inevitable tears.

For if you raise them, firm and true,
You earn the right to spoil them sweet,
To send them home when day is through,
With sticky fingers and happy feet.

But if you spoil the child you raise,
And give them everything they ask,
You'll find you'll spend your later days,
Still bending to a harder task.

So heed the wisdom, young and old,
The truth beneath the gentle smile:
Raise your children, brave and bold,
And spoil your grandkids for a while.

A GRANDPA'S LOVE

My precious girl, my shooting star,
No matter where you are,
I see the world in a new light,
So beautiful and bright.

I held you first, a tiny hand,
A miracle so grand.
A whispered promise, soft and true,
To watch and cherish you.

I've watched you grow, a fleeting art,
The keeper of my heart.
From first few steps to scraped-up knees,
You've moved me to my knees.

You are the echo of my youth,
A living, breathing truth.
The best of me, a second chance,
To see the world's romance.

And though my hair is turning grey,
And years have slipped away,
My love for you will never fade,
It's the finest thing I've made.

So when you're big and far and wide,
With the whole world as your guide,
Just know your Grandpa's love is strong,
And has been all along.

Grandkids, they leave a big mark on your heart forever 💞

10 PM Without You Dear

The house is still, the day is done,
The clock strikes ten, the night's begun.
The teacup sits, no little hands,
No bedtime stories, no sweet demands.

The quilt is warm, the lamp is low,
But something's missing, soft and slow.
It's you, my dear, my grandson sweet,
The one who makes my life complete.

I close my eyes and see your face,
Your laughter filling up this space.
I hear your voice, that joyful sound,
That used to echo all around.

Ten o'clock, and I'm alone,
Just memories and telephone.
I wish you knew, I wish you'd see,
How much you truly mean to me.

The stars are out, the moon is bright,
I hope you're safe and tucked in tight.
But oh, how lonely this heart feels,
Without you here, my love, my wheel.

Distance keeps us far apart,
But you are always in my heart.
Ten PM, and I miss you so,
More than these simple words can show.

Goodnight, my dear, sleep soft and deep,
While grandma's love will never sleep.
I'll count the days until we meet,
When once again my joy's complete.

— Missing you always, Grandma
