My family, let us join hands and not only remember, but also pray for all who have suffered such unbearable loss in Israel, on October 7, 2023. Let the memories of this day burn in our hearts as we wrap our loving arms around our Jewish brothers and sisters and grieve together as one.

Father, comfort every broken heart with Your everlasting love and hold each grieving family close in Your healing embrace. Let our Jewish brothers and sisters feel that they are deeply loved, never forgotten, and always surrounded by our prayers and loving thoughts. As a family of believers, we will always stand together with Israel and its people. Amen.

Yesterday on a Flydubai Flight to Tel Aviv, the unthinkable happened: a violent cockpit attack sent the Boeing 737 into a terrifying rapid plunge. Yet even in the darkest moment, God’s hand of deliverance was undeniable:

An injured captain, Smit Machchhar, found the strength to resist and unlatch the cockpit door.

Brave passengers and crew rushed in to overpower and restrain the attacker.

Relief pilots traveling on that exact flight stepped into the cockpit to pull up the aircraft and land safely.

What was meant for catastrophe became a testimony of divine protection. All 174 lives were spared because God placed the right people in the right seats at the exact moment they were needed. Join us in praying for Captain Machchhar's full recovery and peace for every passenger and crew member.

Visible Love

God never meant for love to be invisible.

From the opening pages of Scripture, our magnificent Creator displays His love in ways that are both tangible and unmistakable. Brilliant sunsets coloring the evening sky, scattered stars shining across the heavens, majestic mountains dotted with evergreens. These are the fingerprints of a compassionate God who puts His love on continual display.

His greatest act of love, however, was revealed through the life of His Son. Jesus stepped into our broken world with the most visible love known to mankind. He welcomed little children, healed the sick, and comforted grieving hearts. Ultimately, He died on a wooden cross as a sacrifice of love for the salvation of the entire world.

So, why not pattern our lives after the greatest example ever known? Through intentional acts of kindness, in every-day ways, let’s consider how to be like Jesus in a world that needs visible, tangible love.

When we align our daily lives with the example of Jesus, kindness stops being an abstract concept and becomes a lived reality. Let's make a deliberate choice every day to offer the kind of practical, visible love this world so deeply needs.

· Writing a letter of encouragement to a grieving friend
· Providing a meal for a single mom
· Visiting the elderly in a nearby nursing home
· Volunteering at a children’s hospital
· Pausing to greet someone on the street

Visible love rejoices with those who rejoice and weeps with those who weep. It serves without seeking recognition with a motive to give instead of receive. This is the heart of what we do for our Jewish brothers and sisters, and it’s our continued mission to love openly as an example for the world to see.

In John 13:35, Jesus said, “By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”

So, take a moment to ask yourself: Can the people around me see God’s love? Do I reflect the heart of Jesus in the way I smile, speak, serve, and live? As we pray for guidance on how to love well, may the Lord use us as reflections of His compassionate heart. And may those who encounter us see more than kindness; may they catch a glimpse of Jesus, the One whose perfect love is continually on display.

Prayer: Father, thank You for displaying Your love so clearly in this world. Help me reflect that same love in my words and actions. Give me the courage to love others as You have loved me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

THE POWER OF GIVING - Our children often visit with elderly members of our community. What do they do? They bring small gifts, share stories, and simply spend time together. The biggest gift, however, is their presence, warmth and smiles. Fulfilling the mitzvah of caring for our elderly is so much more than a duty; it’s about making them feel loved and needed.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the hatred, anger, and division surrounding our daily lives. But God wants us to take a step back and remember that His promises are eternal. His path for us may not always be a straight line, but there is always purpose in our journey.

God’s plan for Israel and the Jewish people remains unchanged, and so does His calling for us to stand with them. When we walk in faithful obedience, we participate in God’s unfolding story—hastening the day our Lord returns and brings a world united in peace under the one true God of Israel.
