Have you ever wanted to explore the West End after hours and weren’t sure how? This program will be the perfect opportunity for you!
Join an educator on a late night hike at the West End and experience the beach during sunset!
This hike will be around 2-3 miles walking across sand and / or pavement. Make sure to be prepared with good shoes, bug spray and water to stay hydrated!

Join us Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 7:00pm ET for "Searching for Methane Seeps" featuring David Christopher, Marine Education Specialist for Delaware Sea Grant at the University of Delaware, broadcasting live from the R/V Atlantis off the east coast during active methane seep research.

David will share insights into the science being conducted and what daily life is like aboard a research vessel. Hosted by Kasey Gaylord-Opalewski, Associate Director of Education Programs for EarthEcho International and Co-Chair of the NMEA Student Engagement Committee.
