DID YOU KNOW APRIL IS AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH?!
Autism is a complex developmental disorder that affects people in a variety of ways. For some, autism can have a physical effect on speech and language capabilities. For others, it can prompt social anxiety or poor motor skills. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that as many as 1 in 68 children born this year will fall somewhere within the “autism spectrum,” facing one or more of the various effects of the disorder.
The brothers of Alpha Phi Delta at Ramapo College wish to do our part in the effort to raise awareness about autism. In addition to our on-campus fundraising, through sales of stickers and temporary tattoos (April 1st and 7th during common hour above Paycafe), the webpage link below serves as our fundraising home. We are truly grateful for any donations, no matter how big or small. All funds go directly to the Autism Society and will help to promote autism research as a national priority.
