Among the most beloved pieces in the Foko Iray collection is the reimagined Merina dress: “L’île rouge” (the red island) a.k.a “Ralila.”

An iconic creation showcased at the Woodrow Wilson in Washington during the Fashion Power Fashioning Peace event in May 2025. A collaboration between We Move Madagascar and Sih Rakout.

The designer offers a contemporary artistic vision of traditional Imerina attire, blending cultural heritage with modern elegance through this masterpiece.
