Our CWA Kurrajong Bush dance has sold out but we have been informed that someone is advertising tickets for an inflated price, accepting money and then not providing the tickets. Our branch members have worked hard to keep the costs down and to be accessible to everyone so this scam is very disappointing and is not in the CWA ethos.
If you have spare tickets please contact us as we may be able to refund your costs and legitimately make these tickets available.
Please be aware and don’t buy from scalpers 🌻

We are currently addressing a number of inquiries related to the CWA Kurrajong tea towels being produced for the 70th Commemoration.
The names were obtained from the 1954 Government Census, and our members have volunteered time and effort to typing, verifying, and meticulously reviewing the lists. Unfortunately, we have received feedback from individuals who are dissatisfied and believe that their family name should be included on the tea towel, while others should be excluded. In light of the fact that it is impossible to dispute 72-year-old census records, we will instead express our sincere appreciation to all involved, including Vicki from Broken but Stronger, for their significant time and effort invested in the project. Thank you for your outstanding contributions.

Tea towels will be available for purchase from CWA Kurrajong members for $15 during the New Tallangatta Commemorative Weekend on June 26, 27, and 28.

They will also be available online through the Broken but Stronger website, with an additional postage and handling fee.
