Millions of Pakistani children have lost access to public education due to the severe flooding that devastated communities in July and August of 2022. Although the floods had submerged one-third of Pakistan under water, the Sindh province was one of the most largely affected areas.

Approximately 27,000 schools remain inaccessible or non-operational. Our goal is to support the rebuilding of schools in Pakistan. The elementary school pictured in the image above has been recently rebuilt structure-wise, but lacks fundamental necessities such as desks, chalkboards, solar panels, and etcetera. While the ultimate goal is to bring functionality to several destroyed schools across Pakistan, this is the initial stage. For future reference, our next phase would be to introduce technology such as computers to the schools.
